JK Rowling selfie attacks Nicola Sturgeon over trans-inclusion

A JK Rowling selfie has become a news item after the Harry Potter author posted one to social media. In which, she is seen wearing a t-shirt targeting Nicola Sturgeon by calling her the "destroyer of women's rights".

Chest binding study; “over 97% reported at least one negative health outcome”

A study on chest binding is being bandied about by the anti-trans crowd due to the eye catching statistic reported in the abstract. "Over 97% reported at least one of 28 negative outcomes attributed to binding". But what does this actually mean?

Chest binding; organisations who provide safety information are a “beacon of light”

With all the talk of chest binders after mainstream media took aim at them and Mermaids UK we are seeing the same pattern. The voices of those actually affected by the issues are not being heard. Mermaids UK criticised by British media (and JK Rowling) for giving chest binder to teenager

Children's charity and parental support group Mermaids UK have come under fire from the usual transphobic suspects trying to demonise any and all support for trans youth. This time over the use and support of teens using a chest binder. JK Rowling was there too, in case you cared.

EHRC announce single-sex exemptions guidlines, they suck!

So far this language and the severity of the concept has helped to stave off attempts by transphobes to employ single-sex exemptions with a blanket approach. Meaning it can only be employed on a case-by-case basis and there must be a truly legitimate aim. However Kishwer Falkner's EHRC has been making moves to support transphobic groups who would like to see the exemptions employed more liberally.

JK Rowling claims she’s once again received a death threat

Taking to Twitter JK Rowling wrote: "I'm afraid I can't give a shout out to everyone promising to murder me - there are so many of you, and I'm a busy woman - but this one deserves a mention for the nineties rave vibe, @TrustFundOzu". I for one just wish she would post one that is a legitimate threat of violence and not like... some random child posting a bugs bunny meme.

Women’s Aid decides some women are less equal than others

Women’s Aid, founded in 1996, are a sadly vital and much needed resource and refuge for women across the UK. Domestic and sexual violence are a scourge that primarily affects women with low income women in particular not having the resources or ability to escape as easily. So its extremely disheartening to see their recent statement deciding that women like me are just less deserving of sanctuary or escape.

BBC launder reputation for disgraced Graham Linehan

The BBC are a corrupt and institutionally transphobic organisation. We’ve known this for a while and I’ve covered multiple occasions demonstrating that exact fact. Including the not too distantly recent time they tried to use a cisgender sexual predator as evidence that trans women are “pressuring women into sex”. This event is no different as they attempt to turn Graham Linehan into a sympathetic character.

Former Anti-SJW YouTuber Gets Shoutout From JK Rowling

Sinead Watson, a detransitioned woman, has campaigned and been part of the anti-trans movement even before she detransitioned. This because she had always taken a position against other transgender people and feminists in general with her anti-SJW YouTube content. She even got a shout out by JKR’s previous favourite Scottish woman, Magdalen Berns.

Why I Won’t Write For Indy Voices Any More

I was super proud to be commissioned for Indy Voices a few years ago. I sent every piece to my parents like “look, its me, I wrote that!” But...
