Drug testing women who have lost pregnancies to see if they have taken abortion pills, strip searching children, increasing surveillance in schools, arresting protestors, front page after front page telling us to hate, hate, hate those who need help, the UK is in serious trouble.

NHS England (NHSE) is holding a public consultation on a proposal to ban puberty blockers for transgender children. The consultation is open until November 1st. This article will explain the proposal in some detail with the aim of providing guidance for respondents. It will also explain the general context of NHSE’s treatment of trans patients so allies and activists who are not up to speed on the situation in the UK can understand what is happening and what must be done.

Justin Webb lied, the BBC did not cut ties with Stonewall over suicide statistics

Justin Webb of BBC Radio 4 recently posted on Twitter regarding the BBC's decision to back out of Stonewall's Diversity Champions and Workplace Equality Index Schemes. He claimed that the BBC and "responsible organisations" cut ties with Stonewall over claims they had made in a 2017 School Report. The BBC response to a Freedom of Information request I sent does not corroborate this.
