The New Women's March logo; three silhouettes of faces overlayed on top of each other and alternating in colours from blue to white and back to blue again. They are meant to represent a diverse selection of women and include different facial features.

New Women’s March Logo has transphobes losing it

The Women's March logo has come under fire from those involved in organising against trans people's equality. This because they've apparently put a man in it, and by which they mean a transgender woman. Hilarity has of course, ensued.

Bridging hormones; why do transphobes want you furious about it?

Attempting to manufacture yet more anti-trans panic, The Telegraph ran a story regarding 'bridging hormones', which is short for a doctor prescribing you medication for harm reduction purposes. According to The Telegraph this basic harm reduction strategy is bad, because transgender.
A photo of Fallon Fox and competitor Tamikka Brents squaring up before the big fight. Just kidding, its actually a photo of cosplayers from video game convention E3 dressed as Tekken characters peforming pre-match poses. I thought it would be funny to use a photo that wasn't Fallon Fox and Tamikka Brents for reasons that will become obvious when you read further into the article.

Fallon Fox hits back after BBC apologise for platforming her

After anti-trans groups, some who have notably said some very awful things themselves, complained to the BBC about comments made by former MMA fighter, Fallon Fox; the BBC apologised. Just like that! No protests, months of organising or appealing ECU decisions necessary! Weird!

Labour Shadow Chancellor, Rachel Reeves has a problem with transgender women in changing rooms

So yeah, Rachel Reeves, if you have a problem with transgender women using the bathroom or changing areas? Then you can wait outside. As can any other transphobe. I am not asking for permission to use women's spaces, I am asserting my rights to not be discriminated against for being transgender.

Penny Mordaunt isn’t our best option for Prime Minister, she’s yours Jayne

Jayne Ozanne writes in Pink News that Penny Mordaunt is "by far and away the best" candidate and that Jayne believes Penny "is a true champion of all the LGBT+ community". Which is just wrong. She isn't our best candidate, she's yours Jayne. By which I mean semi-wealthy white cisgender queers. She's got your back, and judging by your endorsement of her after her tirade? Clearly you're fine with sticking the knife in ours if it means you don't have to look over your shoulder so much any more.

7 of 11 Tory PM candidates are doing lazy transphobia

With former Prime Minister Boris Johnson forced into resigning after countless scandals and horrific behaviours, Tory PM candidates transphobia card is being played by all but one.

Equalities Minister Mike Freer’s bumbling resignation as UK Government collapses

I see this for what it is, a cynical political move designed to support the (now successful) ousting of a crap Prime Minister by those like Mike Freer. It has nothing to do with constituents, supporters, LGBT+ people, diversity or Margaret Thatcher's evil bones. It has everything to do with playing the game and making sure there's still a Tory party after the end of all this scandal. All so they can all keep their nice cushy jobs blowing smoke up each other's arses and paying lip-service to their job titles.
A press photo of Maya Forstater

What does the Maya Forstater tribunal mean for trans people? (Don’t worry!)

Before Maya Forstater's case a lot of things were up in the air and every single lawyer, legal expert and asshole with a website like myself was just guessing about how things would work or play out. That's sort of what law is in general. But now we actually have some definition on the playing field, we're starting to see the rules take shape and even despite a win; I don't think the gender criticals will be happy with the results once they set in.
An employee badge attached to a blue blazer. It shows the Halifax logo and reads "Gemma she/her/hers"

Halifax Pronoun Badges & The media’s disastrous attempt to manufacture outrage

So what happened is that a few people on the internet saw Halifax make an inclusive gesture - during pride month, when brands tend to do that sort of stuff - and got upset about it online. The media then got involved to amp up the story and try to make it into a moment by writing about and sharing it widely via their platforms. Which they did entirely for the clicks because they don't really care one way or another what happens with regards to trans inclusion - they literally just want you to visit their site and share it with your friends for the ad revenue.

The Umbrella Academy Season 3: Meet Viktor and spoiler-free review

Overall though I had a good time watching this season of The Umbrella Academy and I think if you liked previous seasons you will too. Though I do have to add that Netflix has come under fire for transphobia repeatedly across the last few years. The company has repeatedly paid millions to comedians who have gone on to make large swathes of their sets just anti-LGBTQIA+ and specifically anti-trans garbage, the latest being Ricky Gervais' SuperNature. Trans staff have even reportedly faced consequences for speaking out against Netflix for this and Netflix higher-ups have repeatedly defended the decision to platform transphobia in this way.
