The Women's March logo has come under fire from those involved in organising against trans people's equality. This because they've apparently put a man in it, and by which they mean a transgender woman. Hilarity has of course, ensued.

Quote; "I will fucking nail you to a wall what you have done to these innocent children. Your mutilation of these little humand because they were gay will be nothing compared to what I will do to you legally. You think you are ghouls wait till I deal with you bastard and I mean to", but in all caps.

I would go on and dissect more of this UCLan style guide but its really all just the same. A complete disregard for transgender lives and an attempt to make transphobia easier to practice in the media for bigots. The point isn't fairness, equality, accuracy or balance. Its simply to create a double standard wherein the actual identity of a transgender person becomes part of the story - something that is literally never on the table when cisgender people commit crimes.
